Grange Wood Glamping 

Within the grounds and garden of ‘The Grange’. Just walk through the living willow arch and you will find  ‘Grange Wood’, 3 acres of woodland with leafy pathways leading to secluded clearings where, out from view and secreted away is our off-grid mini ‘pop-up glamping’ site.

We offer completely exclusive use for your group. An extra special Glamping Break where all the facilities are just for you.

We are on hand should you need anything!

A ’pop-up’ glamping site was developed in 2015 and a local business held ‘hen camps’ in bell tents during the summer months. This was very successful and their business soon outgrew what Mary and Mick offered here at The Grange. In 2021 the idea of Grange Wood Glamping was sown. A small off-grid ‘pop-up’ glamping site for couples or alternatively a limited availability for groups of family and friends, with sole use of the site with no minimum but a maximum occupancy of up to 14 people under canvas. With additional accommodation for 6/7 in the B&B rooms for those whom ‘off-grid glamping’ is really not their thing. A perfect private space making it possible for friends and all of the family to gather together and meet up in one place.

Romantic Breaks 

Introducing – ‘Night Owl’ a stunning new Lotus belle tent. 

With a minimum height in excess of 5 feet, this spacious, secluded and special space is a perfect romantic rendezvous. 

A full-sized double bed with sumptuous bedding, towels, cushions and blankets. 

Chairs and table, open wardrobe, storage chest and side tables. 

Porch area. 

A welcome hamper and tea tray. 

Nestled in a hidden glade you can escape a while in this magical peaceful place. 

You have the whole of the woodland to yourselves. 

No electricity and minimal phone signal – switch off for a couple of days. 

Off-grid, your light is from solar, your warmth is from your own firepit, 

BBQ, perfect for preparing your leisurely breakfast and cooking your supper. 

A compost toilet is close by for convenience. 

There are on-grid facilities in ‘The Mess’ a leisurely stroll away. 

Venture down leafy pathways guided by the glow of solar lights to stretch out and soak in a 2 metre wood-fired cedar hot tub. 

Relax, lie back and watch the stars appear. 

 

The ‘Den’ is another relaxation room, a convenient shelter by the Hot Tub, ideal to get changed or to sit a while, should it be raining.

GROUP GLAMPING: 

up to 8 people in     2 belle tents     - £1000 

up to 12 people in   3 belle tents    – £1500 

up to 2 people in gypsy caravan      - £125 

 

includes bedding – Please, bring your own towels. 

 

A deposit of £300 secures your date and confirms your reservation. 

2 months before your arrival – the balance is due. 

A refundable damage waiver of £100 is required. 

(NB. This is refunded after your stay as long as there is no damage or excess cleaning needed.)
